Goal Categories
Financial: Revenue Goals
While adults and business owners understand revenue goals, children may not. However, children receive allowances and part-time jobs which fit into this category. We believe that teenagers can define revenue goals before they start their employment history.
Starting Steps For Revenue Goals
(1) In deciding what revenue goal is practical or reasonable, I need answers to some questions:
(a) What valuable skills do I have that other people need?
(b) What valuable knowledge do I have that other people need?
(c) What is the typical hourly earning rate for employees with similar skills and knowledge?
(d) Do I have other special qualities that deserve more money per hour than others?
(2) Once I estimate my hourly earnings rate, I decide how many hours per day or week I can work.
(3) What are the payroll tax deductions? Once known, I can compute my net revenues per week or month.
(3) Who is willing to hire me at that hourly rate and that volume of work hours?
(4) Can I increase my value to potential employers by working hard or learning something new?
(5) How can I demonstrate my interest for a job to an employer if I want a special opportunity?
