Receive From Others
Once we meet individuals, we may engage them through sharing or transferring ideas and resources in some form of exchange. While we usually conduct two-way exchanges such as employment, this topic focuses on one way transactions that seek others for their help. In the process of seeking help, we may also establish a personal indebtedness that the other party can use to seek our help at a future time.
Starting Steps for Receiving From Others:
(1) What do we need help with? Is the help we need easy to do or does it require sacrifice of the other party?
(2) What benefits does the helping party receive from helping you? Do they meet new people or gain some expertise?
(3) How is the help you seek scheduled? Is it a one-time event or recurring events on a weekly schedule?
